Whova + Zoom

All events will be streamed via Whova+Zoom. Attendees can use Whova to look at the program and connect to the corresponding Zoom Session meeting.

Authors and chairs must connect to their corresponding session to present their work and/or answer Q&A.

All Authors: Video and Poster upload on Whova

ACM Multimedia 2022 is a hybrid conference. The virtual part of the conference will be supported through the Whova platform. The full program schedule will be available through this platform, including pre-recorded videos and posters, for all papers.

For all papers, authors need to upload a pre-recorded video presenting their work (it can be the same video submitted to ACM DL, unless otherwise indicated by the respective chairs) and a poster.

The deadline for submitting the pre-record videos and posters is October 5, 11:59 PM (AOE).

Whova video and poster upload instructions:

Authors that registered at the conference will receive an email with a form (Whova Speaker Form) where both the video and posters must be uploaded, for their corresponding papers. You can also update your personal information (e.g. Institution, etc.) on this form.

All **registrants** are already added to Whova. All paper authors must ensure that they are registered to be able to upload their video and poster. For more information about the ACM Multimedia 2022 event in Whova, please refer to https://2022.acmmm.org/whova/.

Pre-recorded video requirements:

Pre-recorded videos will be available for all registered participants, and will be presented at the conference, in case none of the authors participates in person (for Oral papers). The requirements are:

  • ● The video length must not exceed 15 minutes (unless otherwise indicated by the respective Track Chairs);
  • ● Videos should be uploaded in the .mp4 format, at 720p or 1080p, with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The video codec should be H.264;
  • ● The file size should not exceed 50MB. If you really need to upload a larger video, instead of uploading the video to Whova, you can add a Youtube link to your pre-recorded video.

Please make sure that your uploaded video meets the requirements above, and that the audio is clear and synchronized. Please refer to the Official Speaker Whova Guide, for more detailed instructions.

Poster requirements:

Virtual posters will be made available through Whova to all registered participants. There will be a dedicated live poster session using the Gather Town platform (more details below), for remote authors of all tracks requiring a poster.

Please make sure that your poster follows these guidelines:

  • ● Upload your file using the “Add Document” button, on the Whova Speaker Form;
  • ● PDF format;
  • ●**Filename**: Your poster filename should comply with the following template: <acmmm2022_poster_paperID.pdf>. For example, if your paper ID is “mmfp9999”, then your poster file name should be “acmmm2022_poster_mmfp9999.pdf.
  • ● A0 size (width x height = 841mm × 1189mm or 33.1 inches × 46.8 inches) portrait format (Vertical). This corresponds to a 2384 x 3370px resolution at 72 PPI;
  • ● The file size should not exceed 10MB.

We suggest you put your Paper ID on your poster (as listed in the conference program). It will make it easier for both participants to reference your poster and for organizers to manage your poster. Additionally to your email, you can also add a QR code to your poster: it will help people find your poster and contact you.
