This is a hybrid event, some events will happen in Whova ( Zoom sessions, videos, posters, polls ), Virtual Poster session will use Gathertown. Use registration email for Whova. All events will be streamed via Whova+Zoom. Attendees can use Whova to look at the program and connect to the corresponding Zoom Session meeting.
Presenters’ Instructions: Authors and chairs must connect to their corresponding session to present their work and/or answer Q&A.

Whova will be the main conference platform. In Whova, you will find the full conference agenda, Zoom links for each session, the list of Speakers and Attendees, paper posters and videos, and polls.
For the best experience, we suggest that you access Whova through the web portal (https://whova.com/portal/webapp/acmmu_202210/) to follow the different sessions and presentations. You can also access Whova through the mobile App (available on both the Android and Apple stores).
We encourage you to use Whova as a medium of communication with other attendees, as well as organizers.
We will use Zoom as the platform for remote presentations and Q&A. The links for each Zoom session are available directly on the Whova Agenda or Whova Portal, under the corresponding session.
All the main events, such as the Welcome, Keynotes, Panels, Best Paper, Rising Star Award, Technical Achievements Award, and Closing sessions, will be streamed live.

On-site oral papers will be presented in a traditional manner, in the corresponding session room. For virtual oral papers, the pre-recorded video (available in Whova), will be played. For the best-paper session, all papers are presented live.
After both on-site and virtual papers presentation, a 3-minute live and hybrid Q&A session will occur. You should use this moment to ask the authors for clarifications and/or discuss a particular aspect of their paper. For on-site attendees, a volunteer will hand you the microphone, remote attendees can make their questions directly via Zoom.
In the program, you will find one poster session on each day of the main conference. Depending on whether authors attend the conference on-site or remotely, there are two different platforms.
Regular On-site Posters: On-site authors will present their posters in the traditional format.
Gather Town: We will use Gather Town to host each poster session in a live manner. This will give both remote authors the opportunity to present their papers live, and also the opportunity for you as an attendee, to interact with authors and discuss their work.
ePosters: Complementary to the on-site poster session and Gather Town, we will have interactive touch screens with all the submitted posters. You can freely interact with these screens, and access all the posters of accepted papers.
ACM Multimedia 2022 will host an Art Exhibition, that is designed to attract integrated perspectives in multimedia art, with special emphasis on fusions, intersections, transformations, and paradigm shifts of the current media and their uses.
The Art Exhibition starts right on Monday (10 October) in parallel with the Welcome Reception, and will last for the entire duration of the conference. Please, take the time to visit the exhibition on the hall of Pavillion 4.

Meals – Welcome coffee and coffee breaks: Welcome coffee (for those that need a warm cup of coffee early in the morning ☺) are server in the Main Foyer and Coffee breaks will be served in Pavilion 4.
Meals – Lunch: Lunch boxes will be provided in the same place as the coffee breaks. You can take your box to Pavilion 4 where you will find round tables to seat and eat comfortably. Standing tables will also be spread throughout the whole venue.
